Designed by Ilse D. Ammonsen for Daproma in Denmark in the 1950s, the gyroscopic candlestick is a highly collectable example of Danish minimalism. Characterized by clean lines and a modernist sculptural form. The gyroscopic pendulum allows the candle to stay level even when the candlestick is moved.
