Objective

• This project reimagines luxury by blending expansive communal spaces with intimate personal retreats. The home fosters connection—between inhabitants, communal and private spaces, and nature—while maintaining a balance between social interaction and personal sanctuary.

Design

• The great room features distinct zones—living, dining, bar, and reading nook—to adapt from intimate gatherings to larger events. The kitchen, centrally located, connects communal areas to private quarters, symbolizing the fusion of shared and personal spaces. The natural world is brought indoors through the extensive use of glazing, framing views of the surrounding landscape, while tongue-and-groove wood ceilings and natural stone finishes evoke a tactile connection to nature. The master suite, with arches and wood finishes, offers a peaceful, old-world charm, complete with a private courtyard accessible from the master bath.

Execution

• The great room’s zoning enhances both flexibility and comfort, while the kitchen serves as a social hub. Natural light and views connect the home with its surroundings. The master suite, with its serene design and access to a secluded courtyard, provides a tranquil, self-contained escape that balances the home’s social and personal dimensions.
