Role description
We are offering an internship with an anticipated duration of approximately 3 months. We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals interested in both the creative and business sides of interior design. This role provides hands-on mentorship, portfolio-building opportunities, and direct involvement with real client and retail projects—offering experience that goes beyond the classroom. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a hybrid in-person position based in Los Angeles / Orange County. Successful completion of the internship may lead to consideration for a full-time position with our team.
responsibilities
- Support the design team with mood boards, tear sheets, CAD/sketch drawings, and design presentations
- Support sourcing efforts across furniture, art, antiques, décor, fixtures, and finishes
- Learn how to handle retail + design inquiries, and help maintain records of purchases and client communications
- Assist with vendor communication, procurement, logistics coordination, and tracking
- Participate in gallery styling, project installations, and photo shoots
- Help build out and maintain our samples and materials library
- Contribute to maintaining the digital design library and prepping content for social media
qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Interior Design, Architecture, or related program
- Familiarity with SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Revit a plus)
- Familiarity with Canva a plus
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative spirit
- Passionate about design, antiques, and creative environments
- Will require site visits in both Los Angeles and Orange County (possibly surrounding counties as well). Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and vehicle registration, and the ability to arrive on time for scheduled visits

compensation
Paid internship. Outstanding performance during the program may lead to consideration for a full-time position with our team.
If the use of your personal vehicle is required during the course of the internship, other than commuting to and from our studio and/or gallery, mileage expenses will be reimbursed.
